THE FOURTH GENERATION

Robin’s son Mark is our current Vice-President.  At a very early age, Mark was introduced to life at the sawmill.  He is no stranger to matters of production and fixing equipment.  He also obtained his lumber grading certificate from the University of New Brunswick.

Mark has embraced modern sawmill technologies and enthusiastically realizes the benefit of change.  He shares in his father’s philosophy of supporting the team effort and continues to seek the advice of his mentors on all things related to the daily operations at ELCO and all future investments.  He has overseen some major projects at the operation including the construction of a bin-sorter and building and the conversion of our planer mill from hydraulics to an electrical drive system.

When it is time for Mark to take over the reins at ELCO, he will be well-experienced and ready for the job.
